Example 2: Used as a Group of exclusive transmission of information

This is an example of setting when a Group is created to transmit information in one direction, to an organization for example.
This example of setting allows only the Group manager to submit and does not place restriction on referring to Group contents.

Example of settings

  1. Select "Group" from the menu of the new system (Gmail).



  2. Click "My Group".



  3. Click "Manage" on the mailing list to be set.



  4. Click "Authority" from the menu on the left and then click "Basic Authority".



  5. Make the following settings, then click "Save".

    • View topics: All members of the group
    • Submission: Group owner, Group manager
    • Join the group: Only invited users


  6. Click "Authority" from the menu on the left and then click "Access Authority".



  7. Make the following settings, then click "Save".

    • View members: All members of the group
    • メDisplay member email addresses: All members of the group
    • View topics: All members of the group
