Example 3: Used as a Group of an ordinary mailing list

This is an example of setting when using like an ordinary mailing list.
This example of setting allows anybody to submit to the group and allows only members to refer to contents of the Group.
And it sets automatic attachment of a prefix to messages submitted to the Group.

Example of settings

  1. Select "Group" from the menu of the new system (Gmail).



  2. Click "My Group".



  3. Click "Manage" on the mailing list to be set.



  4. Click "Authority" from the menu on the left and then click "Basic Authority".



  5. Make the following settings, then click "Save".

    • View topics: All members of the group
    • Submission: open to all
    • Join the group: Only invited users


  6. Click "Authority" from the menu on the left and then click "Access Authority".



  7. Make the following settings, then click "Save".

    • View members: All members of the group
    • Display member email addresses: All members of the group
    • トView topics: All members of the group


  8. Click "Settings" from the menu on the left and then click "Mail Options".



  9. Make the following settings, then click "Save".

    • Subject prefix
      • This sets a character-string enclosed in [ ] or { }, [concierge-ml:%d] for example. If [%d] is added, the number of each message is added to the Subject.
      • Please enter "%" as single-byte characters.
