Adding a member: "Direct add members"

Introduction

Before using direct add members, carry out "Procedure 1: Set to permit posting even without a Keio Apps ID". If this is already done, move on to "Procedure 2: Member direct add members".


Procedure 1: Set to permit posting even without a Keio Apps ID.

  1. Select “Group” from the menu of the new system (Gmail).



  2. Click "My Group".



  3. Click "Manage" of the mailing list to be set.



  4. Click "Authority" in the menu on the left and then click "Basic permissions".


  5. Check "Permit new users outside keio.jp" then click "Save".


  6. Click "Settings" from the menu on the left and then click "ID".


  7. Turn "Displayed name or Google profile" to ON then click "Save".



Procedure 2: Member direct add members

  1. Click "Directly add member" under "Member" on the menu on the left.


  2. Enter the email address to be added to "Please enter email address to be added as a member."
    ※* In the case where the member's email address to be added is a Keio Mail address (example: keiotaro@z2.keio.jp), the address of the corresponding Keio Apps ID is added.
    For the Keio Apps ID corresponding to the Keio Mail address, refer to the Keio Mail address and Keio Apps ID confirmation method (Address conversion method) .

    To add an address other than @keio.jp, you must input "Prepare an invitation message".

    After input is completed, click "Add".


  3. Enter the letters to be displayed, and click "Continue".
    (If the member's address to be added is Keio Apps ID (xxxxx@keio.jp address), it is not displayed.)


    Member is added.

    An email stating that the member has been added is sent to people with addresses other than "xxxxx@keio.jp".
