[FINISHED] [Issues] Emergency Rosponse and Partial Service Outage due to Keio University Infrastructure System Failure

Due to a problem with the Keio University Infrastructure System, the following emergency measures will be taken.

Date and Time: July 1, 2023 (Saturday) from 6:30 a.m. to 8:00 a.m.
Details: Stopping and restarting some servers on the Keio infrastructure system
Impact: The following services will be affected,
  • Password changes and various modifications on keio.jp
  • keio.jp activation
  • Delivery delays in some keio.ac.jp email services (during this period, sending and receiving will be unavailable)
  • ITC website
  • eduroam authentication (if already connected, it may still be available)
  • Course support system
  • K-LMS (Canvas) timetable
  • Personnel procedures system
  • Student health insurance application system
  • Kyoseikan access management system
  • K-RIS system
  • Yag@mix2
  • OB/OG visitation system
  • Emblem application (VI)
  • mi-mail system
Note:
  • The service downtime may vary slightly depending on the progress of the work.
  • There may be other services not listed here that could be affected.
  • If these measures are not implemented, there is a risk of a complete shutdown of the keio.jp system. Therefore, we cannot accommodate any date and time changes.
