Notification of the migration of mailing lists functions accompanying the Keio mail system migration

The stop date for the current mailing list system has been extended.
The former date of December 15, 2014 has been extended to the new date of January 8, 2015.

If you have not yet performed the migration procedure, please be sure to do it by January 7, 2015.
(If you have already performed it, there is no need to do it again.)

On November 11, 2014, the Keio mail system will migrate to the new system (Google Apps for Education).
At the same time, in the mailing lists, functions will migrate to Groups, which is one service of Google Apps for Education.

  1. You will be able to continue to use the address you now use (example: test@ml.keio.jp).
  2. Administrators or sub-administrators of the mailing lists must perform migration procedures between November 11 and January 7, 2015.
  3. Schedule
    • November 6, 2014: Mailing lists new preparation function of the current system use ends.
      * Any new mailing list created after November 11 should be created in Groups.
      Current mailing lists may be edited (member list, authorizations, etc.) up until December 14. From December 15, please edit in Groups.
    • November 11, 2014: Groups use begins and migration process begins.
    • January 8, 2015: Use of the current system’s mailing lists function ends. Mailing lists functions integrate with Groups.
