Notice to Students Leaving in September 2026 (Graduation, Completion, Voluntary Withdrawal, etc.) Regarding Discontinuation of ITC Account Services

As of 12:00 noon on Friday, September 18, 2026, students leaving Keio University in September 2026 will no longer be able to use any services associated with their ITC account.
Therefore, please be sure to back up all of your personal data before then.

* As of the end of August 2026, users will no longer be able to access the Windows Home Drive with an ITC account.

* Since the middle of March 2026, one of ITC account services has been changed.

* Students who will continue their studies at Keio University, such as by enrolling a graduate school or another academic program, may continue to use certain ITC account services (the Unix Login and the Personal Web Pages only) beyond the Fall Semester.

How to Back Up Your Data

Data in the Windows Home Drive (e.g. Documents)

* As of the end of August 2026, users will no longer be able to access the Windows Home Drive with an ITC account. Please make sure to back up any data you wish to retain before then.

Files you created on campus PCs managed by KIC, including those stored in the Documents folder and your Google Chrome bookmarks, are saved in the Windows Home Drive.
Please back up any files you wish to retain.

Personal Web Pages

If you have published personal web pages, you should back up the "public_html" directory.

Data in the Unix Home Drive

To back up your Unix home directory, follow the procedures below:

1. Check whether the Unix service (the Unix login functions) is enabled.
2. Transfer (back up) your files using WinSCP.
